Sports Day 2012!

It may not have been the best of weather... but our spirits were not dampened! We had a great afternoon of sports. Thank you to Mrs Sidee for organising all of the events for us and to Hugh for helping us out.

Olympic Enterprise

As a end of year project, Year 5 were set the challenge to create a new olympic themed snack, drink or gift idea. After just a few days of hard work, the Year 5 class was transformed into an exhibition centre where guests from Year 4 and 6 visited each group. At the end of the visit, all visitors voted for one team to be crowned 'Apprentice Group 2012'.
It wasn't just about getting votes!! All groups had a set budget of £50,000 to develop and market their ideas. They were charged for resources... even for help from Mr Buckley, Mrs Bilkis and Mr Finnerty!
Here are some pictures of the exhibition in action.

Congratulations to all teams for an excellent effort! There certainly were signs of budding entrepreneurs of the future! A special well done for Team Viper for gaining most votes!

Year 5 visit the 02!

Year 5 had a wonderful, yet exhausting day at the 02 on Tuesday 10th July. We visited the British Music Experience as well as going to the special Sony, Nissan and Sky exhibitions- we even got to see the new cable cars that cross the Thames. Here are just a few pictures of our amazing trip!
Are we there yet?

At the beginning of the day when we all had energy!

How does Sony make 3D technology? We found out by putting on a private gig at the 02!
